NEW RDN to Master of Science in Applied Nutrition Pathway

Are you a current Registered Dietitian (RD) that is interested in earning their Master’s degree? We now offer the opportunity for current RDs to earn their master’s within a shorter completion time. RDs would also be able to achieve up to 405 hours of CPEUs through completion of our 27-credit RDN to Master of Science in Applied Nutrition pathway.

Beginning in 2024, a minimum of a master’s degree will be an eligibility requirement in order to take the CDR dietetic registration exam needed to earn RDN licensure. With this shorter pathway, you will be able to earn your master’s degree in as little as sixteen months.

PLEASE NOTE: To be eligible for this shorter pathway option, students must be current RDs and provide a copy of their current RD license. If you are not a current RD, please select Master of Science in Applied Nutrition under the program field.

Melanie Berdyck, M.S. Applied Nutrition 2019 Graduate

"Getting this master's degree is about preparing myself for the next 20-30 years because the nutrition world is extremely competitive. I didn't want to miss out on future opportunities, or lose out on a potentially good job offer just because I didn't have a master's."

Melanie Berdyck, M.S. Applied Nutrition 2019 Graduate
